I love this pizza. I grew up around the corner from the original and in my opinion, that is the best one; it tastes different to me, possibly because the ovens are seasoned and the placebo effect of being "my" pizza place. However, this is a close second. As far as I can tell, the menu is the same across the board. My go-to is their white pizza (I can crush a 10" alone and I have no shame admitting it) and the Royal Feast (with all the toppings) is delectable, too. I love how they crumble the sausage and pepperoni - I really think you get a great flavor that way. Also love how they cut squares instead of traditional slices. The best pieces are always the corner pieces; I don't know why, they just are. Servers are friendly and patient while you decide (patience always gets noted in my book because I have...well, really close to none when I'm hungry!) Bonus points for having a decent selection of bottles, mostly craft beers. There's also IC Light on tap (you know you're in Pittsburgh when.....) I haven't tried their sandwiches/hoagies or salads because in my mind, you're wasting a trip if you come here and you get a salad. This place says they're good to the very edge and they live up to it.

Sir Pizza is like Pizza King pizza that I have always loved. I love thin, crispy crust pizza and this is it! It is not greasy either.

Just had my very first Sir Pizza. A large cheese and pepperoni that I ordered online. The online process, this being my first time using it, was a bit cumbersome and I actually somehow ended up ordering the wrong pizza.. On to the pizza.....the pizza arrived fairly quickly, much sooner than I anticipated it arriving, which was good. As for the pizza, my very first bite contained a HAIR. Not a short one, but a rather long one. Ugh. Because I was so damn hungry, I still ate the rest of the pizza. The pizza was actually pretty good, although because I somehow ordered the wrong pizza, I ended up with a round pizza that was cut into squares. My family didn't like that too much. The pizza itself was actually pretty good, although my kids still preferred Monteccellos or Champs, which are two other local pizza places. Would I order from them again? Maybe, but the hair kinda ruined it for me

I stopped by here yesterday for lunch by myself. So I have to admit that I grew up eating Sir Pizza at its original location and so the pizza that they serve here is actually quite a bit nostalgic for me. With that being said I have never been to this location before and I was quite impressed with the inside. It was modern, clean and very open with a few TV's on the wall and number of pieces of sports memorabilia. For my lunch I decided to order the 14" pizza with pepperoni on it. $13.73, ouch, a steep price for a 14" pie. After ordering I found myself a table a sat down to wait. I was actually surprised whenever they called my name only about 10 minutes later and I went up to get my pizza. If you have never eaten a Sir Pizza before the look of it might be a little weird to you. They cut it three times vertically and three times horizontally providing a number of odd shaped and small pieces that you probably have not seen before. Their pepperoni also is not your normal pepperoni slice. As a matter of a fact it sort of reminds me of bulk sausage and comes in clumps which is unique. The pizza itself ended up tasting quite good here although I have been by others that haven't grown up on it that you need to get used to it. It was a little different than the Sir Pizza that I am used to but in a good way as the bottom of the pizza was crispier and also seemed to have a bit of salt there as well. Generally speaking it normally is a thin crust pizza with marginal cheese and a fairly bland sauce that requires a little extra salt but I still love it. The bottom line for me is that I will be back here again in the future. I actually am quite excited to show my sister, a Sir Pizza fiend who lives out of state, this location to see what she thinks of it.

Same delicious pizza at a locatikn in cranberry. The employees were friendly, the place was clean, and the pizza was awesome. Sir pizza is my favorite pizza ever. Thin and crispy crust with the petfect amount of sauce and cheese. The pepperoni is spicy and chopped into delicious bits. This location has some awesome lunch specials as well. We will be back!

Good pizza and breadsticks. I can't get enough of those little square slices. The pepperoni is ground up which is a nice change from the usual. The real test of a pizza, though is how good is tastes the next day when you're eating it cold. Happy to report that it passes the test. This is actually one of my favorite pizzas to eat cold (if there's any left over to begin with.)

This place is great for those times you really want a frozen pizza but don't want to cook it in your own over.

Breadsticks are really good. The pepperoni pizza is the only kind I order. It's delicious, cheesy, and has yummy salty pepperoni on top. I've been to the one in Wexford and Cranberry. Both have a very friendly staff. When you're craving pizza, this is a must try!

Some people don't like Sir Pizza. Some people are wrong. Sir Pizza is an awesome relic from 1975. Their pizza is cut into little squares. I like little squares. Makes me feel like I'm eating more when I'm actually eating less. I still eat the same amount that I would if the slices were cut into triangles, though. So given that, I suppose I'm not really eating less and am just delusional. That's OK. As Sir Pizza states, their goodness goes "ALL THE WAY TO THE EDGE!" I like living on the edge in general. Especially when the pizza is cut into squares. It makes me feel like I'm trying something slightly risky every time I have a pizza from Sir. Let me tell you, those toppings really do go all the way to the edge. I like that crust. It's crispy where it needs to be. The sauce is an odd mix of sweet and tangy, almost metallic. But I like it like that. It reminds me of 1975 when I was three years old. The next year would be America's Bicentennial. Captain America probably loved Sir Pizza that year and ate a whole lot of it. I like the little bits of pepperoni like you get on a Totino's frozen pizza, and not the usual full-on circular discs of 'roni. Do you remember that Vanilla Ice tune "Havin' a Roni"? It's OK if you don't. The ground beef and sassitch they put on their pies are also ground up fine, and I dig that. It goes well on the smaller, edgier square cuts. If you like the mid '70s and are down with pizza ALL THE WAY TO THE EDGE, then you'll absolutely wanna get some Sir Pizza. Their logo is awesome. Their pizza smells awesome. If I die and go to heaven, I hope it's the '70s there and everyone's enjoying never ending Sir Pizza pizzas. That'd be totes awesomesauce.

The staff was friendly and we were able to get a seat right away since the place was a ghost town. I think that's for a good reason. My family and I were very underwhelmed by the food. We got a large half-cheese, half-mushroom and pepperoni pizza, a plain 6" turkey hoagie and 3 fountain drinks: ~$30. Everything tasted bland and nothing tasted fresh. I can see this as a place that the locals who grew up on Sir Pizza would return to, but all others should steer clear. There are far too many real good pizza places nearby to settle for this joint. Glad we finally got to try it, but I have no idea what the buzz was about. No, sir, I will not have another.

Let me set the record straight on Sir Pizza. First off, it is not your average, run of the mill pizza joint. If you want thick square pan pizza or floppy New York style pizza you've gone to the wrong place. Sir pizza is very unique. They dice all toppings and cut the pizza into small square slices. - some people complain about this but I happen to like the different style. Their crusader hoagies are among the best you'll have and the spaghetti is good as well. They USED to serve small paper plates to eat the hoagies and pizza from but they have recently switched to reusable plates which is nice. They have a self serve beverage station and they also sell draft beer - decent selection and bottles as well. The staff is always great - nice guys and I've never had an issue there. The place is always clean. They also offer curbside takeout. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed!
